Cool, man the power on tap is mind blowing. For the year that's amazing. Jumping to 90 with the ZR-1 would be neat to see the difference in power delivery. I see why you said that's the fast car in your collection. Years ago, I worked at Van Nuys plant building Camaros and Firebirds. One evening they had a Banks twin turbo firebird on display on the lower level. Pure race, not street. They were going for salt flats, from what I recall. It's too bad that something for the street never developed from that. We built the turbo V6 Trans Ams that were detuned and sent to be tuned at the location where the convertibles were converted. Or so I was told. GM was weird about keeping power levels lower than Corvettes. Man, that Callaway is something else! Thanks for the ride along. Glad you didn't end up chasing vacuum leaks.

Will do one soon, if you see this car race my zr1 from say 60 to infinity, by the time the zr1 hits 120, this car will be so far in front it will be hard to make out what it is. These cars, when tuned right, run from 60 to 190 and higher very fast

At the end there where you said it was getting boring... that's probably the only time I would disagree with you! Awesome! Thank you again for the ride along in your Supercar (eighties car magazine lingo-totally appropriate for the Callaway)! I was nervous when you would squirt in between cars but you know your surroundings out there better than I. Here in New York, drivers think nothing of cutting in front of you as if they do not even check their mirrors as they turn. I appreciate the ride my friend. God Bless!

Had an '89. One of the nicest things about that car was how smooth and quiet it was. Had it sounded like this cacophony of droning noise, I never would have bought it. This thing is representative of what an 18 year old with rich parents would do.

That thing is a beast, i cant imagine getting it on a track and opening it up. What octane level do you use when running on race fuel?
