Interesting test, I went from an old Callaway xhot to the Rogue this year, and am starting to regret it. Yes I can hit it long now and again but dispersion is worse...and it was fitted. May have to try the xr speed after watching this one!

Thanks for doing that head2head Ali, it`s interesting to see that JailBreak technology appears to be only making margin impact in terms of front to back dispersion and even if we ignore the wide left shot with the Rogue the side to side dispersion was better with the XR. I`m getting a little cynical that the Bold marketing claims from Callaway and TM aren`t showing up when they get tested by independent reviewers.

I got the US version of the XR speed and I actually got better numbers from xR over rogue. Definite a surprise but goes to show how important it is to test and get fitted

If XR speed is the right club for you after testing, the money you save can get you custom shaft fitted for even better results. When the comparison is that close with stock shafts I feel like it's a no brainer.

Interesting comparison, Ali. Based on how close your numbers were and that most golfers swing much slower than you, I can't justify the higher price for Rogue.

Okay so just got a rouge and it came with a senergy R flex shaft (bought it used for 215 usd). Anyway first three balls all 20 to 30 yard fades, so I took the motore speeder 565 S flex shaft out of an BB 816 alpha that I played at times, dead straight ever since went out on the course and hit 30 yards longer than my g30 or my alpha even skyed one and still went dead straight and about 175 yards and I really thought it did not even hit the face. I don't know why but I hit it Higher that what is see in this video and I have it set to 8 degrees and Draw. I think it is a big improvement or what I had for sure!

I own the XR Speed when I did a head to head the Speed just felt better I hit it farther and cost $200 less then the Rogue and $300 for the Epic . Callaway messed up by make a driver that's better then there high end drivers and cost much less . I think Callaway just repackaged the Speed and charged you $ 200 more and called it Maverick .

The XR speed is in the US now. It comes standard with the project x Hzrdus shaft

like the comparison, you might wanna consider a microphone hanging above your head to get rid of the noise when it hits you shirt :)

There is some upcoming demodays at my club from Ping and Callaway. So that could be a good opportunity to get fitted. BUT they will probably use the Callaway range balls on the fitting. How will that affect the fitting when it comes to ball speed and spin and distance? Great video.

Love your vids, but with all due respect....I think your final analysis regarding “Jailbreak” is off! Shot #4 with the XR Speed only has a 144mph ball speed, which is obviously a bad strike, and totally skewed the final averages!! Give that shot 150mph ball speed, and XR Speed WINS in the Avg Ball Speed category. So....after seeing this, my final take based on YOUR shots, is that Jailbreak has very little effect on total distance! And to be honest, I’m seeing that myself. I own the PING G400 and Callaway Rogue, and my G400 is longer and has the same avg ball speed as the Rogue. Rogue is a great driver, but it’s NOT a game-changer!

I don't know how you can say that the rouge win the test? 101yards dispersion? You have one of those hits in the fairway. You will do better with the Speed driver 😊

Jan Johansson fully agree. Mine just came in, KBS $ Taper blacks to go with them, played my first round of the year with them yesterday, ended up finishing with a 79, best round I’ve ever played

5 shots each is not much can't really get good feel of results minimum of 10 each would better 20 even better even if it was not all on camera
