I don’t know if that caller realizes that with all those players he named, we were 4-13 last year! 😂 If you want to establish a certain culture, like toughness that DQ and AP have talked about, you have to let them go if they aren’t buying in. DQ said, “there are no sacred cows”! I just appreciate the fact that his words and actions are in alignment. It says a lot about Jahan’s play in practice if those “bums” are out performing him and the fact that JD5 has built a rapport with OZ, Dyami and Ertz and not Jahan. I think they gave Jahan every opportunity to buy in but he didn’t want it so he had to go. I wish the guy success wherever he goes just not against us when they play against us!

Glad to see the emotion from dude in Largo. He's 100% right. Jahan will go on to eat in Philly. I'll tell ya'll this much. I've spoken to over 40 Philly fans over the past couple of days and every last one of them are ecstatic over this trade. Jahan will open up the game for AJ and Devanta and he will be left to roam and destroy the slot position. AP should have thought about this and go get Aiyuk and still put Jahan in the slot to exploit defenses but we are in a "rebuild year". Philly won in the trade.

The caller doesn't seem to consider that both Ferrell and Fowler were former top 10 picks. They didn't live up to the hype, but neither did Jahan.

I only heard one but it is only a concern and not something that necessarily makes the trade bad. BTW, it is not a "sudden" turn around for Houston. They had 3 straight 11+ loss seasons and 4 over their last 6. While it has been a long time since we were good, you would have to go back to 2013, 2014 for the last time we posted 2 11+ loss seasons in a row. Before last year, most of our December games during the Rivera era were meaningful (albeit, we usually lost them) while until 2023 Houston had not had a meaningful December since 2019. While I have strong hopes that we will be a playoff contender this year, I strongly believe we will be one in 2025.

The is the first time, in a looooong time that I agree with you CH. I empathize with Shane in Oxon Hill, because I’ve gotten passionate on calls with you before too. But I don’t agree with him, JD’s body language, his releases off the line, drops, lack of attacking the ball, not getting out of his routes explosively with consistency; are all reasons that I was very comfortable getting a 3rd & 7th round pick for him. Regardless of what he does for another team, he wasn’t helping WSH anymore. Our coaching staff and front office, who are habitual winners and are trying to establish a winning org. saw very similar things & probably the same things. And this is why we were losers for so long, because we had mediocre coaches, and front office staff that did not evaluate with this kind of accountability. If Ron or JG, were still here JD would still be here.

So you take away what Dotson did in two seasons because he had an average training camp ? . Then go to say he had a terrible year when he had less catches with the same amount of yards from his rookie year ?! I can see why “COMMANDERS” culture sucks 😂😂😂 #FlyEaglesFly

By this logic, we should have kept Chase Young😂😂😂. You guys are hilarious. The man had less catches and receptions, but played in more games than his rookie year. He played in more games than Curtis who had more yards than Dotson last year. My apologies, it was EB's fault for his lack of production. EB is the reason why Dotson couldn't get off the line of scrimmage. EB was the reason why Dotson couldn't get open in the field. Eb's play calls was the reason Dotson was tripping over himself and getting pushed around on the field. As Doc Walker would say, "4-13 does not hold a roster spot for anyone." I love Dotson and I hope he makes it through everything he is going through right now. But for this preseason, he got outshined by everyone else. It is what it is. No hard feelings.

Craig man, I hate to say it..... you are wrong my guy. I respect all the takes but he is right, you drop productive guys for guys that haven't competed in the 3-6 years they been in the league. I like Luvu, Wagner, and Ekeler, but the rest of the guys.... suspect. Don't change your take later. Stand on business. Houston is not the same situation, can't use that as an example. The 49ers have won by getting big time players in trades and free agency. And you used the Kittle explanation so Wagner is gonna make Davis better, Ekeler is gonna make B Rob better? Ertz in the tight end room? Look this is my team but I hated the Jahan trade. He about to be a problem. Eagles have 3 1000 yard receivers now
