I genuinely felt for Rob in the show when he said to Leah, “I hate when you interrupt me, because I don’t talk a lot.” I 100% believed that. She was entitled to her feelings because I would be upset too, but when you are in a relationship in an introvert you need to let them feel heard or else they close down.

Yeah but is it Leah fault for him not being comfortable communicating his emotions. She gave him time to approach her he didn’t the fact is he was feeling someone else instead of being honest or saying he needed time to process his emotions he did the crying and yelling thing trying to take over expressing his emotions when it was the time to help Leah feel heard then I’m sure she would’ve done the same in return all she wanted was reassurance and he couldn’t do that. Women have to put the or feelings on back burners for emotionally underdeveloped men and it’s never fair.

I don't think he is the type to be able to find a wife genuinely on reality TV. This is coming from someone who was seeing a reality star back in the day who was more like Robs personality, loved the outdoors, boating, fishing didn't like clubs and was more quiet, he was more of a private person. He was into camping, and going to the lake. He hated the spotlight despite being on a reality competition show. He even told me he really liked me , because I didn't care or even know he was on a show, I loved the outdoors like him, and that's what sparked his interest. He was super good-looking , and didn't like attention though, his persona was very different on the show compared to him in real life. ( It kinda always amazes me how more introverted need to be alone people go on shows to find love, but I know sometimes it's necessary to get out of your shell. I definitely don't see Rob opening up until he finds the right girl, one that doesn't care that he was on a show, he doesnt meet on a reality show, that likes him for who he is, despite his flaws. Someone who can grow with him, no one is perfect. One that can understand his need for alone time , and respect him not wanting to open up right away. I don't know those are just my observations. Also i dont think he shows the real him on tv(remember a lot of reality stars play characters)

I listened to the whole podcast and this is my conclusion. While some might think he's chasing Leah, it seems like he's happy just being friends. People thought his feelings were deep because of the effect of “tiktok edits* (glad he was aware) Alex was great that she manage to get him to talk about his issues. Opening up is his real struggle, shown by past bad relationships and a recent one where he hid his depression. The villa experience pushed him over the edge, with panic attacks and he even knew people wouldn't like him, as he didn’t like himself either and was scared to talk to his family because he knew he messed up. And this whole fame thing is freaking him out. Therapy would be a good call for him. He needs some help dealing with all this and finding the support he craves.

Being introverted, creative, sensitive and most of all needing alone time to process feelings and recharge. They can be quite social which seems contradictory and their environment is also very important. Rob clearly likes to be in nature and around water. Being on public display like Love Island was not in his best interest, but to my delight, we the public got a glimpse of someone with this rare combination of the (Meyers Briggs) INFJ. Hey, so did we even watch the same love island, because I don’t recall ever a single time where Rob manipulated ANYBODY. If anyone wants to mention manipulation, emotional abuse, or narcissism, let’s start with ol’ Forgetting Leah Marshall because the way she blew up, twisted his words to manipulate people in the villa, verbally abused him, went on a smear campaign, when he articulated his emotions so perfectly is actually so sociopathic of everyone gaslighting him.

Kind of disappointed that in the episode you didn't clarify to Rob that Leah specifically said he never talked shit about Rob TO ANDREA, not in general and that she never talked shit about Andrea TO ROB. You just let him walk away thinking he's completely right instead of clearing up a miscommunication.

So we are all getting that he is still into Leah and he’s respectfully waiting for Leah and Miguel to end, right? It also amazes me that he either owned or shed light on all negative behaviors but people still won’t allow him to redeem himself. This is why people put walls up. No one is ever allowed to make mistakes.

I’m not gonna lie, I like Leah and Rob together. They are young, we never know what could happen.

I first binged this season without looking at any on the comment anyone else made and when I finished and looked at social media I was soooo surprised that people were actually hating on Rob, I thought he was great! Honestly hating on anyone based solely on a producers edits of conversations is insanely crazy to me

Alex’s tone changes with the social status of whoever she interviews. The way she tried to goad him into answering questions about sex and his feelings was uncomfortable. He even mentioned he felt uncomfortable at times. It’s like she saw how social media was urging her to lambast him but didn’t take into account that he’s a human being.

I think in the beginning & when he was dumped their goodbye, they were sweet together when you add in bombshells and situations constantly because that's the way the show was designed were factors to what ended them. Those situations may or may not have happened in the real world in essence they were sweet with each other with those factors removed.

im so confused why she is saying they never aired the group huddle about sending andrea home? they literally did?? why is she validating all his delusions about that dumping and leah being "batshit"
@grimlockthethrasher15 ай бұрын
Lemme help because if you actually watch the damn episode you would see that Leah was the first person to bring her up and made up some bs saying she doesn’t know if Andrea is there for the right reasons. Even during movie night they refused to play it. Leah did nothing but try to hurt him and disrespect him cuz she was hurt that he picked Andrea

It takes a lot for people to keep it real in this shitfest world, I like Rob's comment about how most people nowadays when they ask you how you are truly don't care...that's shamefully and sadly at times the state of our world, I don't even watch these shows, just happened upon here.
