I think one thing that has helped in the case of Justice in particular, is the collabs - Specifically starting with EnReco, which was a masterpiece of an idea. Throwing the newest talents into the same room as all their seniors and scrambling the teams ensured that a lot of unexpected pairings occured, and exposed them to audiences that otherwise might not have been interested. Further helps that Gigi and ERB both really went all-in, creating some of the highlight character arcs - I've warmed to Justice much sooned than I did to Council/Promise and Advent as a result.

Advent and then even more so Justice both feel like they're a lot closer than both Council and Myth were at the start. My random guess for why this is: Myth kinda had to build up the EN brand, there was no guarantee they'd be a success, so Hololive maybe didn't put as much effort into them as they wound up doing later, or the EN branch simply wasn't as experienced as it became later on. Yes, they do things together but they're struggling to find their feet and figure out exactly what to do and how to act without too much guidance from people who are experienced. then IRyS DESCENDS right into the concrete and she gets to do IRyS things (mentioning this entirely so people don't think I forgot she exists) Council comes along and the company is more confident that things are gonna work out, so they put more effort into Council's startup and there's more of a sense of comradery among them because they're already fans of existing tallents, plus a lore reason for them to be hanging out and together more often makes them and the community feel like they should be hanging out more, plus they have their senpais to help them figure out how they should be doing things. Eventually Advent comes along and they both have that same comradery and an already very built up community to exist in, they have to forge a lot less of it on their own and have a lot of people to look to for advice on things now, plus again the corporation is more confident they'll be a success and eventually Justice comes and they're in the exact same boat but it's even bigger now. Early on Myth from what I remember was very much their characters, it took a bit of time for some to just be themselves with the lore on top as a thing to joke about or a mask to hide behind so they don't have to reveal IRL information. I don't think the later generations had that initial bout of acting last nearly as much. Ima be honest, I have no idea why I started typing this out... it seems like a thought possessed me into spending like 5 minutes sharing it. Edit: Probably something Cali said, because the video because it's paused in the first minute...

Though Myth and Council are separate gens, they feel like they belong to the same overall era of Hololive EN, the experimental era where no one knew what they were doing and had to figure it out on their own, and succeeded through sheer talent and force of will. In that respect Myth and Council are more like peers than senpai/kouhai. Advent and Justice belong to the new era of HoloEN, where they are experienced performing powerhouses joining an established group. They can build on the successes of Myth and Promise, while taking HoloEN to new heights with their own unique talents. Compared to them, Calli and the other members of Myth and Promise are veterans of Hololive, and can take on a senpai/mentor role, something it seems Calli in particular takes on very naturally.
