SUMMARY OF BEGINNING: Stef, a dedicated police officer, is in a relationship with Lena. The two have built a close-knit family with Stef's biological son, Brandon, and adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. When Lena meets Callie -- hardened from being in and out of foster homes -- the couple welcome her into their home, thinking it is temporary. Callie's blunt commentary about the atypical family hits a nerve with the twins, who struggle with their own identities. Then the girl discovers a secret that could land Mariana in trouble. Brandon helps Callie navigate the social scene at high school, but she skips school to meet up with an old friend. Her behavior makes Stef and Lena second-guess their decision to help her. TRAILER: flixlist.co/titles/70281526 MORE INFO: site: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fosters_(American_TV_series) MY TAKE: I watched this series about three times every episode. I personally really connected and enjoyed and cherished each episode it's an emotionally grasping heart aching and sentimental story that I watched 4 years ago but still don't regret it. If you get the time I recommend watching it. This was one of my favorite shows and I'm really happy I had the opportunity to see it. WHERE YOU CAN WATCH? I've went through many foster cares and throughout that time I've been sexually, physical, and mentally abused. There's been many nights were I had no no desire to go on with my life. The system really is broken. They think it's fine and shove the foster care children to the side like we're nothing. I turned 14 a couple months ago and my one wish was to be adopted by this really nice gay couple but unfortunately it didn't pull through so I'm stuck in a brand new home all over again. The character development of Callie Adams Foster is incredible but what is even more incredible is the real-life implication of this story. Yes, our whole system needs a big revamping. Including the following: Child protective services, Foster Care, Schools, teaching and so on. It's very sad today the way our systems are. Most of all immigration. If you are in this country and go to school and pay taxes and graduate and you are a good citizen and the way we send everyone back. The whole system needs revamping.

Netflix Subscription KZbin From $1.99 Amazon Prime Video From $1.99 iTunes From $1.99 Google Play Movies & TV From $1.99 ADDITIONAL COMMENT: I highly recommend watching the fosters if or if you haven't seen all of good trouble the fosters helps you really understand Mariana and Callie.

I love Callie she's an amazing person, she brings out the fire within me,in my heart, to be voice for the voiceless, for the ones who don't have a voice and I would happy to be that voice! I wanna help people I wanna make a difference in the world,I wanna help immigrants who aren't always bad people, help children seperated from the families from the boarder, be an activist for autism ,for the LGBTQ+ community, stand up for I believe in whats right even if it means standing alone, to help old people get better health care and checks, help people with disabilities, talk more about the importance of mental health, help foster kids etc. talk more about things that not many people wanna talk about, things that's not always acknowledged, sexual assault victims/abuse etc of both genders it happens to anyone, to stop bullying and prevent suicide victims, i wanna kids/teens know they're not alone, help them and teach them that it's okay to be different, because being different is what makes you special and beautiful, that have felt alone, isolated, outcasts like they didn't belong, & Discrimination is not just about race, and my America is about a world full of people mixed together of all kinds of races/backgrounds/countries a melting pot, of all united, all races, gender, sexuality, religion, disabilities etc that is my America not the one where '' make america white again'' your not making America great like that, people like the character from Foster make america great, immigrants make america great, I don't judge you by your race or who you love etc I judge by what kind of person you are and how you treat other human beings cause inside we're all the same,we all have bones....and when people tell other people to stop speaking the language thats not English it's not cool it's racist, and america doesn't have an official language even if the most spoken one is English AND also Spanish as well. i'm a proud Latina that's Puerto Rican who is a mother and happens to be a bisexual woman who talks about things like these on her KZbin channel and always likes to be herself,to express herself, tells stories, who is funny, kind and sweet, awkward, weird who yes have a learning disability and mental illness etc and likes to speak up,my channel is a safe space for everyone included,be yourself and love who you are, be your beautiful, authentic self and always unapologetically be you.

The Fosters is so underrated and such a beautiful, compelling story. Thank you so much for putting what had to be hours and hours of work to make this gorgeous montage. You did an amazing job and just made me want to go and rewatch this phenomenal show. It's been years since I saw the early seasons, so there was so much I had forgotten, so it was like watching all over again. I held off the tears til Callie was rescuing Jude though..(so a whole 3 minutes 58 seconds lol). Thanks for doing such a good job and not making it choppy, it really felt like a movie and flowed SO well. PLEASE make more like this.

Allie Whitmarsh The fact is that when someone gets adopted into a family or fostered by them that it's taboo to have a sexual relationship with one of the kids in that family. I was adopted as well and even if I didn't grow up with my sister she sure as hell still is. You don't want to see them as siblings because you want them to be together lol.

This video almost made me cry because of how much Callie has gone through. This is an amazing video. This is also the best representation of Callie and her life that I've ever seen. Callie's life also kind of reflects how messed up the system is because even though this might not be based off of a true story, there are a lot of foster kids who have gone through things like this and I think this is an amazing video that gives hope to people who have lost hope.

i love how the girl who beat her up in jail, for almost no reason, became her best friend, who went through everything with her. i also love how lena and stef thought it would just be for a couple weeks, and then they became her forever family. they started out not wanting to keep her forever, then loved her more and more as they went on. even after everything she had done, taking a baseball bat to her foster fathers car, even to having sex with her foster brother. and they had helped her through everything, her dad wanting to take her, to putting liam in jail for what he did to her. they became her forever family, and that just shows hope for all those foster kids like her. the twins and brandon had finally gotten used to it. and in the end, they had the best relationship, even with all the fights, they still stuck together. to all the foster kids, you will find your forever family. i promise.
