yes. same consistency of oil paint with linseed oil or turpentine oil. check and then add your dilutant with the help of dropper to attain required consistency.

Basically A good Calligrapher and Artist doesn't need to harden the brush. For that purpose you can use qalam with some soft cloth on it. Brushes are supposed to be used with their soft bristles!

Brush is used differently. so if you want to learn traditional calligraphy go with mark or qalam. Contrary to it, if you want to learn calligraphy painting go with brushes. I would suggest you to go with marker first.

if you want to practice on paper, you can use fountain pen ink too. For Professional Calligraphy on Calligraphy Papers you can go with Black Lamp ink instead of Omega ink or there are more expensive and good quality inks available on Amazon.

How to make an acrylic calligraphy ink for brush? so the answer is basic ratio is 2: 1. 2 parts of acrylic paint and 1 part of water. but this ration depends on the consistency of your acrylic paint if your paint is too thick you can increase water part, if your acrylic paint is more diluted then lessen the water portion.
