I saw Jack Dee at Hatfield Polytechnic in 1991. He destroyed the hecklers from the crap acts that came before him and stole the show. Jack is as sharp as as a diamond and a legend.

He's one of my top three British comedians of the last few decades. His book thanks for nothing is a masterpiece. It's best on audiobook as he reads it. Frankie Boyle, Frank Skinner and Stewart Lee sorry 4 . He has kept me sane and given me a silly smile when the metaphorical rain clouds have been pouring down.

I miss Jack Dee's standup. He was so funny but once he had started doing tv sitcoms he stopped doing what he was best at.

It's the same with Frankie Boyle and Skinner. From what Boyle says in his book they can't talk about all sorts of current affairs. I think they get older start families and have to bite the mediocre bland bullet . I appreciate reading your comment as it's nice to know it's not just me. Have you seen Troy Hawke. Only found him yesterday he's my new number 1.

@Oooo-bi7bi yeah Frank Skinner was an excellent comedian. I'm hanging on to Jimmy Carr whilst I can, one of the last joke about anything, offend no one stand ups.

@Oooo-bi7bi not familiar with thost names, I only know the mainstream (t.v.) people. I don't just go for the shockers, I am a big Tim Vine fan on a joke per pound his gigs are the most value and side-splitting, Jimmy's provoke more cerebral groans 🤣
