Great cinematography. Simply excellent for a bloke that is self taught. It must have taken you ages to shoot just the return shoot to the jetty was 5 or 6 angles. They all need to be individually shot. Well done.

Young man, it's nice to see you get the boat out. Anticipating the northern boat trip you're planning. I hope it is like the latest W.A. trip was. Do you have plans to do product demos/reviews as well as safety tips with marine equipment as you do with 4x4 and camping gear? Let's see, you now have LAND and WATER travel modes pretty soon you will need to get your pilot license for AIR adventures. Great job with all you're doing and continue SEEKING ADVENTURE!!!!!

Great to see you logging on. We are in the middle of filming a boating safety series with the help of our local Sea Rescue group and so many people fail to log on and log off. It is so easy and it is all a free service. Safety on the water is so important but many people take it for granted. Might be worth pointing out (for those who don't know) that heading away from the beach on Carnac is a very bad idea. There are some 400 blind tiger snakes on the island. Sea Rescue do suggest that people wear a life jacket at all times when boating. The new slimline ones are perfect for that. Just a reminder to those watching the video that if you log on, you need to log off when you get back. Resources could be wasted looking for you if you don't.

THANK YOU I fish that Carnac area on average once a fortnight and have for last few years and the drone footage you have shown has given me a view I never had. So far as fishing go buy a cheap BCF light spin setup and a few squid jigs. I spend hours just drifting the shallow weed bed areas in that area and off Woodies just watching the world go by. Generally you will always get a few squid for your trouble, they are awesome fresh.

Love your videos. Congrats on your new boat. Looking forward to more adventures with you and the boat. I have one criticism. Boat safety and I am sure you had a Life preserver on board. BUT!!! Going out by yourself you should be wearing a Life preserver vest that will deploy automatic when you go into the water. Stay safe buddy and keep up the good work.
@rodh21685 жыл бұрын
I second Douglas regarding a PFD. Sure, every Oz kid is an amazing swimmer BUT they still drown. The #1 rule in boating is if you're on water wear a PFD vest. Good ones auto inflate and are much cheaper than a funeral.

Do you have an EPIRB or PLB ? , just a hint for radio protocol , establish contact with sea rescue first , let them respond , then give them the rest of your information , it gives them time to copy your details down in case they are busy or have a new person on the radio at base .
@Douginont5 жыл бұрын
Second time I lauched my boat I forgot to put the drain plug in. Quite the surprise when I noticed water up over the floor in the rear. I figured I'd fire it up, run around the lake a bit with the sump pump on and it would get rid of most of it. Well when I punched it, all the water went to the stern. Didn't swamp it but it was sitting low. A smart person learns from their mistakes. A wise person learns from the mistakes of others.

Hey Tom, the only requirement is to have a radio if you are more then 5NM off shore and to monitor the emergency channel. As for logging on with Sea Rescue you can do what you like, it's just recommended 👍. That's only because we there is so much open land and nothing else to do 😂.
