Recent Activity 36.9 hours past 2 weeks from those 37, I spent 30 only finding my rhythm and coordination for flair landings with about 1 landing out of 20 not ending up in a crash XD. I started playing a few months ago, and honestly, I've been missing out on so much... amazing game, so immersive, I love it

if ur bad. just practice (strafe landings will help u a lot to be quicker).. but changing fov will mess up ur zeroing... best have it on standard and rebind zoom out.

Yeah I wanted to mention the FOV thing for infantry but cut it due to time constraints. Had to keep it under 5 mins! Thanks for the comment man :)

No worries at all man! Thanks for the comment. I use 90 FOV in the non track IR clips and 85 in the track IR clips (so 99% of them).

Hey! Thanks so much for these tutorials, they have really helped me out, I used a joystick (personal preference) and I am making a lot of progress. For the J Hook, at the end of the turn how do I prevent my helicopter from just going up again as when I pull out of the turn my nose is always facing it so I go up instead of being able to land.

I’m having trouble where Arma 3 doesn’t want to launch. The launcher comes up fine but when I hit play, it doesn’t go to Arma 3. It goes black then back to my desktop. Do you know of any solution to that? I’ve tried it multiple times, restarting and shutting down my computer even but to no avail. Thx

Not really unless you are VERY skilled or lucky. The stress damage features make it very difficult to get these types of landings without killing the heli.

TOMMEH, love your videos for the visual beauty but the days of the bank and crank are gone brother, we're doing coordinated turning for combat landings now. This video is too simplistic IMHO. The final phase of landing involves pedals and roll together (not just in the very end to "clean it up") and you never even touched on how to spot land which is essential for tight spots. On second thought, maybe I'm the only one that can spot land?

Legendary material here Tommeh. I know I know it is just a copy of Dyslexci s tutorials.... but it is your won for sure. I use the actual collective and cyclic controller etc .... and will hone my skill and reflexes to get there in the end... as it is a steep learning curve but patience, time and discipline are the solver of all problems. to master this takes not only time, but eye hand coordination (muscle memory) coupled with judging trajectory and landing zone to judge the air speed VS decline rate to roll into a hover at exactly the correct time and place. This will take lots and lots of practice. Thanks for this ... and a huge thanks for the links to Dr_strangepete steam workship add ons. It is really really hard to find it on the Steam server in the workshop as the search engine does not find strangpete in any form or working or dr_strange pete ..... you my friend are an absolute legend!
