@@lazycloud4684 There's not. I believe Commander Taco was referring to Elden Ring, with a huge debate around whether it (and other souls games) should have an easy mode, despite being developed as difficult games.

I made a gorgeous character for Dark Souls 2 in my “HeartCooksBrain DS2 Blind” LP that accidentally looked like “Daenerys” in Game of Thrones (even though I’d only watched 2 episodes tops and never got into it - I just noticed the similarity). I was horrified when she lost her humanity *SO* much that her beautiful white hair had even fallen out, like a cancer patient. I wasn’t good at the game, so I rarely ever saw my character in her full human beautiful state - with her flawless porcelain skin and shining white hair... those precious few times I would turn her human with a consumable (I forget the name of the consumable) were always cherished - I’d show her off to the camera at that moment to remind my viewers that she actually was a pretty character at one point, because they wouldn’t get to see her looking like that again for many videos. I usually died no more than a minute of her turning human, and there went my lovely character - she’d be turned into a green zombie with a few stay short strands of white hair poking out of her head lol.

@@shanellemurrey9300 Thanks, Shanelle. I miss doing the videos very much. It was a blast. Very cool viewers too that I super enjoyed chatting with. To this day, I still never spoiled myself by watching anyone else play the rest of the game, in hopes that maybe one day I could come back to uploading videos blind for the rest of my LP. Heh. If the death of my computer didn’t practically coincide with the adpocalypse, I would have most likely tried to push through to recover things and continue. I was just about to try to see if I could make a bit of ad money and such when things went to shit on YT. I was at like 995 subs, and you need 1k to become partner back then, but then EVERYTHING became a joke here when it came to monetization. It’s pretty funny, because even years after I stopped making content, this dumb platform pulled a couple of my videos for rule changes they enacted that weren’t rules when I uploaded the videos. And they pulled them even though I wasn’t monetized! No rhyme or reason given. I would have been walking on eggshells with my commentary if I decided to continue and make money with it, which is sooo not me. I miss how YT used to be. Anyways, sorry for blabbering! Thanks for caring to check it out. ;)

Along with the lock on, holding the dodge button while moving allows one to sprint, an excellent gambit when trying to outrun a Taurus Demon to a ladder. Also, that comical fall animation was some kind of glitch; that's usually the animation that plays when you get knocked off a ladder. What seemed to happen is you got hit on the ladder, climbed down, and then the Taurus Demon's weapon shockwave hit you and somehow triggered the ladder falling animation. It was flippin hilarious to see it from a standing position, though 🤣

By the way, I have never seen that glitch before… It was absolutely hysterical! I didn’t see a shockwave going on at the time he began on that animation though (or it was very delayed!). However, I was cringing every time he failed to do a plunge attack on the first two bosses. Even climbing up the ladder repetitively with the Taurus demon, but not plunging on the boss... wtf lol. He apparently isn’t the type to read signs, even in the beginning from the devs. At least he finally figured it out (or did he have a stream chat tell him? lol). Loved the video though! Glad to see him make progress.

Seeing Kevin actually learning a boss’ moveset and the correct responses and also seeing him realize the importance of varying attacks and locking on to enemies gives me an odd sense of bittersweet pride. Love to see him get better, but it feels like we’re moving past the “Kevin being bad at Soulsborne” era, which was one of my personal favorites.

I'm part Dutch, and I grew up with the spoon, too! My mom used a plastic one, which really stung. My brothers and I celebrated the day when the spoon was accidentally melted on the side of a pot, rendering it useless. 😂

About 10:55, I think you discovered a glitch! It looks like you start rolling immediately after getting off the ladder, chaining rolls until you ran out of stamina. That animation plays when you run out of stamina on a ladder, so I think you tricked the game into playing the wrong animation by rolling at the exact moment you touched the ground.
