@@brandonbertsch8801 you have to kill a special deathclaw named Rawr near the end of lonesome road. Then you can craft it at a campfire. You'll get the fist of north rawr instead of the normal fist of rawr if you have wild wasteland

Fist of the North Rawr is a unique death claw gauntlet. It's a dlc weapon you can only make if you selected the trait Wild Wasteland, which is probably why you don't remember it.

The hat Joe Cobb was wearing is only seen in Fallout 3. It is the "Murry The Mole Hat" or the "Cave Rat Outfit" counterpart. The reason the randomizer mod could use it is because most of the Fallout 3 files are still in the New Vegas engine. As New Vegas is roughly Fallout 3 with a new world and story with a chunk of new content. New Vegas was pretty much build on the back of Fallout 3. Many of the items from 3 are usually unobtainable yet still persistent in the game engine.
