Couple of tips from a dr2c veteran. Try to keep morale at least above average on all characters where possible. Once it gets too low, they will leave, and even take items. Bandit checks and other checks while driving wll check against your characters stats, and sometimes even give a a chance to improve them. So try to choose two characters from the start who complement each othdr., e.g., if you get an athletic character, complement them with a mechanci or medical character. This is a game of resource management, when given a choice where to loot in a city, choose the one you need most. Hardware store often gives durable melee weapons, pharmacy gives med kits, etc. Get the chainsaw. Finally, once it gets dark while you are looting (I think past 9:00pm), zombies will slowly start entering the city and it can be easy to be overrun. Take a torch for long missions/night missions/tunnel/sewer missions, and if you see that things are going south, don't be scared to force your way out with a shotgun blast or two and then retreat back to your car. This game can sometimes reward greed, but it almost always punishes it.

Kevin, a few things about this game that would help: Zombo Points can be used to upgrade and unlock abilities and perks for your characters. You can choose to send people out to scavenge or let them rest in the car. There’s a super long siege near the end of the game that takes 4 hours, so be prepared. And most importantly: El Satan can pick up zombies and can throw them :D
