Easily my favourite weapon. The base form is fast, and the tricked form has reach. The tricked form is also great for hitting multiple targets, and it's serrated. Both forms also leave your off hand free for other weapons.

@@96Thompson I know... I was going along with the video's joke of how he didn't bother reading the tutorials. It really doesn't matter that much, he's a comedy channel. And the Souls games are ultimately really unintuiive for newbies. They explain nothing but the very bare minimum, and just pressing buttons is a good way to accidentally waste all your items - like what happened when he did try that.

First thing you did wrong is make a monster, if you make someone who is "typically" handsome you immediately win because the wolf at the start falls in love with you and defends you, unlocking it's true potential for true love making it able to defeat all enemies in one hit

You technically can run past any enemy you don’t want to fight. Like when you start the game you can kill the werewolf with no weapon or just run past him you also don’t need to die at the beginning to get your first set of weapons what I did was just run past everyone and opened up the shortcut for fighting father Gascoigne, and then light the candle and teleport to get your weapons.
