In fact having a higher IQ can negatively affect your social skills if correct, while this is an extreme example: the man based on the charecter Will Hunting from Good Will Hunting had a IQ of 360 but failed in life due to loneliness and depression and died at just 42 years of age. So Kevin probably has an average IQ but is exceptional in social skills.

It must be Kevin's voice, he sounds so positive and light-hearted, like a great comedian, like a cool uncle. He also always says "We" so he fools people into subconsciously accepting him as part of the group. You also can never tell if he is joking or being serious, so you can't be angry at him.
