Noah pulled himself up by his bootstraps by showering at the gym, eating rain-soaked park hotdogs, pissing himself nearly every day, busting open local water lines searching for treasure, and not taking advantage of anyone else. Well, except that butler. And however many people he stole from to become a successful con artist. Truly an inspiring and wholesome success story.

@@ashb7 Noah is a firm believer of separating work and personal life, he will only ever take advantage of people during working hours. Its a job, not a hobby. The buttler doesnt count, he wanted to be scammed. He could have took a wall or something... No, wait, just a wall, there was nothing else. But thats kinda the point. Why would he expect to be paid when walking into such a place? He was clearly doing it out of a civic duty. His dialogue to Noah about how he should get to work was out of pure spite, proof that he also deserved to be scammed. Noah all around wholesome human, work life nonstanding.

Four months late now, but sometimes fast-forwarding causes the "you stood me up" timer to go down before the taxi can show up. Playing at normal speed after arranging a date/outing might avoid the issue, but some people reported it still happening because of other issues like unpatched games (back when patches had to be done manually). If you're okay with mods then LazyDuchess made one that fixes the game speed glitch. Great vid, I'm shocked the date didn't just automatically end after the first proposal and that Noah got his happy ending

For anyone wanting to do this in the sims 2 I recommend getting the comm-skill mod. For some reason skill points can’t be made on community lots. Which makes libraries and gyms kinda usless (which is why there’s not really a gym in the neighborhoods so I would make a small one in the town you are playing. - good for regular gameplay also. I’d recommend a small library too) There is also a mod to allow sleeping on community lots too. These will probably be the best mods in general to get ESPECIALLY the comm-skill mod. It’s cool because any npcs and townies will gain skills at the gym too or whatever they are doing on the community lots. At my library I have some chess boards and townies gain points also.

@@vivusthevivusthing6182 Honestly, absolutely yes. Theres a reason why all this memorable sims are one-offs. Cause we all know, surely he does too, that Kevin will completely destroy their lifes if there ever was a return engagement. Its just that Noah feels a little more especial cause he didnt end up becoming a kidnapper or /and murderer. Wich is all the more reason to left them be.

God bless the Sims 2. Has brought me so much happiness throughout the years. Can’t believe that the 5th installation is in the works already. Feels like just yesterday when we ”moved on” to sims 3, but now we’re almost 20 years away from it. Insane!

This looked fun, so I wanted to give it a try but I only have the Sims 4. It is crazy how much easier it is to start off with nothing compared to what Kevin went through. It got me thinking, for the Sims 4, to make it a challenge -start off the same, but try to earn enough for a premade house and surviving by using only using public facilities or going to other peoples houses (without becoming a roomate). Shower at the gym, sleep on benches, cook on the grill at the park.... those kinds of things

Thats the one thing that was missing in Noah perfect life; some atrocious children to continue the legacy of the Monnie name. Maybe they could get their own race car beds, surely that would be the height of happiness for all.

Im sure he couldnt believe how well it went either. Sometimes, if we are lucky, good things really happens to bad people. Noah Monnie was, in the end, no true to his name. Thats why he was so fortunate. Usually names are like curses when Kevin is involved.

The Sims 2 and 3 were so fun to play since keeping your Sim alive/successful was hard. The Sims 4 is just a dollhouse, it can be fun but there is zero challenge unless you try take it a challenge by just ignoring half the game and adjusting setting

I can't stop watching this video! I'm just finding it so satisfying! I've got to make my own Sim of Noah Monnie, and give him a back story. I think I'll make him a young adult, and give him evil rich parents who kicked him out of their mansion because he wouldn't stop mooching off them and get a job.

When Noah Monnie got married and Kevin said he needed to make a bedroom extention and "get a more fitting bedding situation for a married couple," I literally, out loud, said, "two race car beds?" And a second later he says, "there we go, 2 race car beds." I had to rewind the video 20 seconds because I was laughing so hard I completely missed what had followed. 😆
