Real Mil-Sim is niche, the graphics usually worse, and the game slower more difficult and less flashy AAA. Tarkov, Arma, Grey Zone and plenty of other Mil-Sim games with a grounded aesthetic and less MTX/DLC are out there if you're not too afraid to try em.
