What if, when a corporation messes up THAT badly, all upper management must be replaced without being given full pay or bonuses or any other form of compensation AND all MAJORITY stock owners lose their entire stake without compensation. I bet shareholders would start caring more about corporate responsibilities over their own profit and would start to vote for c-suites accordingly, which would drastically reduce stuff like environmental damage and massive cover ups.
