Everything about the build up to ballum was great. The cheeky one liners, the looks, sneaking about, ben teasing callum. It was perfection watching it unfold right before your eyes back then. All of that was worth it. Ben and callum love each other dearly❤️

Ballum may be over 😭but at least we have these vids, which I never get tired of watching. I loved how organically their relationship developed. It was well paced, which is unusual for a soap. From first meet to wedding was a realistic amount of time. We never really got to see the happily married couple they should have been though. After getting back from honeymoon it was one non-stop trauma after another. Only since Lola died have they allowed to be happy and settled. Can't praise Max & Tony enough for bringing the characters and relationship to life. I have never been so invested in a couple and I waited nearly 50 years to see gay characters on TV who meant something and resonated with me, so thank you both ❤❤

The sad thing is the writers haven't given Callum a big storyline of his own since four years ago. Tony Clay the past four years treated so badly by the producers. Callum is just a plot device for Ben.Callum needs a storyline of his own where the focus is on HIM not Ben. The problem with this gay relationship is the writing is too one sided all about Ben misery. Almost four years since Callum come out all he does is babysit Ben with his mental health issues. They got stale and chemistry gone. I hope this summer they break up for good. Ben will probably cheat again because he is promiscuous he doesn't like monogamy. And Callum being the Muppet that he is will grovel and beg Ben to take him back like last summer. Callum needs a NEW direction and focus on himself and what he needs. It can't be about Ben mental breakdown all the damn time.
