It's really weird how I can focus on writing and/or editing when I am surrounded by strangers in the most chaotic places. I just put my headphones on and people could literally be having shouting matches in front of me and I can maintain a state of flow. I think what I haven't done enough is set a clear intention of what I need to do and take a few deep breaths before the timer starts. The stretches when the timer ends are also something that I need to do more regularly. I'm definitely coming back to this video!

I've learned this recently. Its especially harder with remote work. Sometimes I'm fine. And lately I've had a hard time getting started.

Wanted to let you know that you're helping people so many months after your stream! Thank you for this! If you have the spoons, other recorded sessions like this in the future would be greatly appreciated; appreciate your vibe!

Hi I'm just starting this video but I already know that this is going to be incredibly helpful to me - I like working alone because if I talk with friends I get distracted but also body doubling tends to make me more focused and productive so I've found that this is a perfect combination of the two

THANK YOU. I had to move to a hybrid work model recently and I continuously come back to this video on most of my work from home days. I run into a HUGE wall trying to work at home, and not lying when I say you’ve helped me keep employable productivity!! Making efforts to absorb your kind calm energy to carry after this video, but for now, we’ve got it together

I've been really getting into study-with-me videos and really liked this one. Sometimes on other ones the sound for the pomodoros and the breaks are too similar and when I'm in the zone I don't even notice the difference. Really liked the stretching portion because it actually made me take a break.

This is a Zen thing? We are supposed to stare for so many minutes at a computer cartoon cat in lavender while subtle white noise goes on in the background and then stretch?
