You might as well not publish this at all without the slides! What possible "copyright" issue could there be? Frankly this does not pass the "smell test". There is something called the "fair use doctrine" and you are allowed to make presentations with copyrighted material. Every single scientific talk given contains copyrighted figures, but it is allowed under the fair use doctrine. Let Zewail's presentation be seen by the world! Ahmed Zewail is a giant of Science and of Caltech. It is embarrassing that Caltech is unwilling to show his Caltech career summary talk.
