Hello Angel! I was really egar to ask you this question. Actually I am from India and rn i am in 11th grade..i also wanna join Caltech probably in 2026 for studying theoretical astrophysics and rn i am preparing for JEE that is considered 2nd toughest exam in the entire world. So do you have any recommendations for me? And because of my academics..i couldn't excel in some special extracurricular activities..i just publish few scientific blogs overall..but i do like researching and CALTECH values a good STEM profile....do you have any ideas about that? And thanks for sharing valuable content ❤❤🎉

Hi!! So sorry for the late response! That’s great, it sounds like you’re already excelling by publishing those scientific blogs! Caltech definitely values a strong passion for STEM so I would say focus on one area in STEM you truly enjoy/want to major in and do your extracurriculars in that! It’s difficult for people to do everything so don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Good luck :)

Aren't you thinking of graduate school after Caltech?

I am not going to graduate school after! I'm going into industry :)

@@wAngel5 Great decision! You make money instead of having to invest for graduate school which makes your financial status better! However, MIT's CSAIL is rather tempting though!!

Are you eventually going to graduate school in CS or abandoning it in favor of working for the rest of your life?
