Lovely. Simply lovely. In mid-December, I'm going to Scotland specifically to play "Calum's Road" on Calum's road. It's one of my favourite Scottish fiddle tunes. I didn't know how popular the tune is until I was staying in a hostello in Milan and met a Scots lass who told me they play it at all the dances now. I'm going to Scotland because I have a close friend whose eldest daughter is in medical school in Edinburgh. He goes to Scotland frequently and invited me to join him on his next trip. His youngest daughter and I play "Calum's Road" together, and have since she was seven. She's now twelve and has become quite accomplished as a violinist, though she prefers to study classical. Anyway, she and I will play "Calum's Road" together on Calum's Road, or the nearest pub given that it will be winter in Scotland. Life doesn't get much better than this, eh.

Wonderful tune, and as usual very nice execution. On my playlist! (along with Capercaillie's) BTW, David, I noticed that you took down Knotted Cord. May I ask was that a copyright issue?

This is a good walking song - the beat fits in well with slow, heavy footsteps. Now we just need someone to write some lyrics for it!
