Mark 1:1-31 - Skip Heitzig

The gospel of Mark is a fast-paced, action-packed read-a small package full of great things! In chapter 1, we encounter John, a messenger who prepared the way for and baptized Jesus. Jesus was immediately sent into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. He then began His ministry-gathering four fishermen as unlikely disciples, casting out an unclean spirit, and healing Peter's mother-in-law.

Just LOVE how this pastor teaches ( a true pastor-teacher ). The late Pastor JV McGee says that the “cookies should be put on the lower shelves so ALL the children can reach them” ; so, the messages of the Bible should be taught in such a way that ALL can UNDERSTAND; it should NEVER be “assumed “ that everyone in the congregation KNOW exactly what you mean or understand what you are talking about. Dude... very interesting about the Holy Spirit... I became a believer in May 95 and was baptised in water... but i know I was only baptised in the Holy Spirit not quite a year ago... dude !!! What a difference the Holy Spirit makes... and being by myself praying one morning I suddenly started praying inn tongues ands laughing and smiling uncontrollably... that had never happened ever it was then that the Holy Spirit baptism occurred... 🙏🌈🙏

John's dress was not camel's skin but camel's hai. It's important because they didn't need to kill camels but shear, cut their hair!!
