The modern parable really got to me. This parable was read in 2011....I'm listening to it for the first time in 2023. All I can say is wow. Its so relatable to what we've been through with COVID.

I have been to church my whole life will be 63 yrs old soon, I have NEVER,seen the Bible explained so well, I 🤔 wish there were more pastors like this, I have heard sermons on there own topics,and put verses from the whole Bible to make it say what they want, thank you for preaching the word if God, like a cold drink of water in the desert 🏝️ thank you,God bless

I have just watched this Sept 2020, we are still in the throes of Covid-19... the 'modern' Parable at the end of the Bible Study is realistic and right on spot of what we are experiencing! The Bible is made very real for us.

How prophetic is the story of the pandemic at the end? Quite incredible as it is very likely that Skip had no idea what he was portending. The Lord works, at times, in a mysterious way. For all the people that heard this message after 2011 and before 2020 would have heard a bit of the coming future.

Some people find it hard to believe the plagues as acts of God but we must remember that God is the Creator of the universe which means He can manipulate atoms and molecules at will and also the laws of physics and chemistry are completely under His control since He is the Grand Author of all sciences. So whether it’s changing a wooden staff into a snake or water into blood or water into wine (as He would do later in the Person of Christ) all these signs and wonders are just God exercising His will over His creation - God is God!

It is March 10,2022 and I am listening to this message. The pastor gives an example of a mysterious flu. Countries close the borders. The story of parents giving the blood of their son to get a vaccine to safe the world. Thank God he gave his only son so we can live and be clean of sin.
