Never took that prayer as thinking about death even at 5 yrs old. .. thought it meant He would take me home. Jesus is coming ... I am ready and have been, to leave this world. I'm 76 and anytime is okay with me.

We were catholics before we got saved but I remember people coming to pray at our house, I miss that more than anything, my prayer is that our family will host prayer meetings again, I loved these times growing up, one time my mom made us a lunch and we set a seat for Jesus

So, let's just say for the sake of argument, the great deceiver was able to deceive those who weren't as serious about being willing to die for their God, even though He died for them, showing by example what love looks like, what is expected, etc. Even though Jesus said "Those who love (protect) their lives will lose it, and those who lose their lives for my sake, will gain eternal life. Paying no heed to the hundreds of thousands of martyrs from the time of Jesus until now, then almost 2k yrs AFTER the resurrection, some preacher who traveled all the way to Scotland to visit a seer, who got her information from demons, to ask her advice, comes back to America, preaching a "free pass" theology where if you just accept Jesus, you magically get whisked away into the sky and don't have to suffer through the tribulation. I can only assume because cowardice is far more common than bravery, other preachers latched on to the lies, the great deceiver stroking egos, saying, "look at the great mystery YOU figured out! You guys are so much smarter than the smartest being God ever created, who also has thousands more years of deception than you do breathing! You are sooo smart! Just ignore the verses that say "AT THE LAST TRUMPET" or that Jesus Himself warned the 7 churches that if they didn't straighten up, their angel would be pulled from the church, or that there was only ONE church that was told that if they did what Jesus ordered, ONLY they would be kept from the hour of tribulation that comes upon the WHOLE earth - including the other 6 churches that had their angels removed so were just part of the world. Or that Jesus actually warned "make sure that no one steals (deceives you into false doctrine) your crown (of salvation)." So, again, for the sake of argument, let's pretend the pretrib rapture theory doesn't go against other verses JESUS HIMSELF said (warned). And let's say many "mighty men of God" who truly loved Jesus, fell into this great deception. What happens to all the not so mighty, who are banking on this free pass and when the antichrist hits the stage and they're still here, they haven't mentally or spiritually prepared to stand up not to take the mark, haven't found a plot of land somewhere to escape the millions of Satan's Nephilum and soldiers who will be slaughtering every Christian they can find (look up the Black Awakening by Russ Dizdar - a man who fought on the front lines against Satan's henchmen in the real world, leaving the head in the sand world behind). So if you're wrong on this pretrib rapture theory that goes against everything Jesus Himself said, how many of your flock are doomed to hell bc they didn't have time to mentally or spiritually prepare for the chaos that is to come upon the land? Do you think Jesus was being a drama queen when He said "there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be." Well, I guess this theory will give Him the cream of the crop and those who understand how worthless this life is and prefer to be with Him, rather than those who only want what He can give, taking and taking, giving back only what is absolutely required to squeak in by the hair of their teeth.
