I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to God for giving you the gift to teach his word. When I opened my bible to read these passages it alarmed me. The way you broke it down in simple teaching helped me to see it in another light. When you "live with an enemy" it's not easy and I know God wants us to walk in love and constantly forgive, yet, sometimes I find it exasperating. At the end of the day I just simply want to please God, so thank you again for explaining this book in the Bible.

It's June 28, 2024 and yet another spot on message from Pastor Paul. Obadiah will be our discussion this Sunday. Thank you, Lord, for giving me this word in advance, not only for this Sunday, but for the days to come. Amen.

I have a mediation zoom call this today with my ex who has been less than nice. This was a great sermon for such a day. I've gotten to a place where I pray for her but admittedly I do find joy when she stumbles. I pray that I can check those emotions and find myself instead prayerful for her and to ask God to bless her. Thank you God

I have learned so much from this study that it makes me sad to know I have not learned more, studied more, earlier in my life. I found this channel because of Aaron and Laura's channel. I am so happy I was sent here. Thank you

I'm 79 and I say better late than NEVER. Edit: God brought ne here. I was raised Catholic and never even held a Bible in my hand till 2007. I have been studying God's Word since then and I also wish I had known earlier. But God Has a plan and it is His will not mine. I am the example for It is never too late.

This was such a great reminder of loving our enemies and not rejoicing at their downfall. As hard it may be to pray for those that hurt us, but that simple act of obedience is all that counts and sooner or later we will be able to pray for our enemies truly from the bottom of our hearts and mean it.

Pastor Paul. , Shalom The Patriarchs of the Old Testament, the 12 Tribes..& ALL the OT...has always hit home w me. Decades of studying about my Lord Yeshua & Messiah . (Ive got 3 brothers..😂..❤❤❤Ur down to earth approach WITH humor is refreshing. All thru OT are examples of sibbling rivalry.

Jesus did drink the wrath of God. And on the cross he said My God my God why art thou forsaken me. He did not say my God why are you torturing me and punishing me and destroying me. The wrath of God is God letting go. See Romans chapter 1:24,26,28. God is not the destroyer He is the restorer. Hebrews 2: 14-15.

The Bible is magnificent I just wish when explaining about Jacob and Esau and I get it Jacob and his mother tricked Isaac, but no one ever explains how the Lord said it would be Jacob to inherit the birthright of the kingdom in Genesis 25, in earlier chapter, I just wish it wasn’t explained that Jacob stole the birthright, rather than the Lord declared it to be this way from the beginning, how it played out is how it played outbut it was written!!

So who’s Edom and what nation is Jacob?
@PastorPaulLeBoutillier Жыл бұрын
Edom is another name for Esau, the twin brother of Jacob. Esau and Jacob were sons of Isaac. Their grandfather was Abraham. Esau (or Edom) was the father of the Edomites. Jacob was renamed Israel and the father of the Israelites.

You’re teaching not to rejoice when enemies are destroyed. When the IDF currently in Israel just killed the Hamas leader and people cheered is this wrong? Confused when this man was evil and wanted the destruction of Israel and her people. Thank you.
