Obadiah: The Bible Explained

The book of Obadiah condemns the arrogance and pride of Edom, a brother nation to God’s chosen people, Israel. But Obadiah’s critique isn’t just for Edomites but all sons and daughters of Adam. God stands opposed to the proud, but all who humbly accept God’s chosen son, Jesus, will be raised.

Jacob did NOT “trick,” his brother, go back and read your Bible, the promise was told to Rabeckah by The Most High that Jacob would receive the promise. Remember the struggle in her womb when Jacob grabbed Esau’s heel, they were fighting for dominance then, Rabeckak was only doing what she was told to do…it may appear as deceptive but she was doing right, Esau was not the promised seed. The fathers of the nations are Abraham, Issac and Jacob… not Abraham, Issac and Esau, it wasn’t stolen it was promised.

This who dont see, but believe. These are ordanry people who have there time to help in this production. The skin colour does not have to be accurate, the name of this channel is "spoken" word... don't let these small things distract you. The new Jerusalem, we will all have new bodies and God will be with us and we will not have to go into a temple to worship Him. You will see that there is so much detail we waste of lives on...and don't focus on God's ultimate love for his creation.

Esau sold his birth right to Jacob, and even though he sold it to Jacob, he still tried to collect what he had sold to his brother, it was not stolen, however, god had already told Rebekah there were two nation in her womb, the elder would serve the younger brother.

Wait 🥴 how did Jacob steal something that was already given to him by Esau? Esau had already sold him the birthright. Esau was the one being deceptive by trying to receive a blessing that was no longer his. Most likely his father had no idea what he done... but his mother knew because she loved Jacob more than Esau and was probably aware of the exchange. Hence the reason she helped Jacob receive what was rightfully his.

There is a lot of flaws on your interpretation of the word of God. If you read carefully Esau despised his birthright and was not interested in the promises of God hence he answered thus ‭‭Genesis 25:32 NKJV‬‬ [32] And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” This means that this birthright meant nothing to him,but he wanted to receive the blessing.He was denied the blessing as it is written, [16] lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. [17] For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.- Hebrews 12:16 The other thing is that it was not Jacob's idea to go to his father and receive a blessing in disguise,it was his mother who suggested it ‭‭Genesis 27:11-13 NKJV‬‬ [11] And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Look, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth-skinned man. [12] Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be a deceiver to him; and I shall bring a curse on myself and not a blessing.” [13] But his mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me.” So by right Jacob took what was his.Esau did not tell his father the truth of what he had done. The other thing is that in the original Hebrew text you will know that when Jacob was named at birth it was not because he has deceived someone but that because he was holfing on to his brothers heel ,so it basically means that but you know that a hewl follows wherever the foot goes so Jacob is a man who followed Gods promises sewking for a reward. It is Esau who lied when he said that Jacob is rightly named the deceiver out of bitterness, but we know the truth from scripture that it is not the case.Please do thorough research before sharing information as distorted information has eternal consequences. It is such information that cause people to be biased against the Jewish people in the Land of Israel by calling them occupiers and siding with Edom who are the Palestinians saying the land belongs to them but it doesn't. Lastly from my side think of this.We know God as the God os Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In Abraham and in Isaac they never stand alone but in Jacob He calls Himself The Mighty One of Jacob, the point is so do you think that The Holy and Righteous God will call Himself the Mighty One of the deceiver?,I dont think so because when they were describing Jacob ans Esau ‭‭Genesis 25:27 NKJV‬‬ [27] So the boys grew. And Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field; but Jacob was a mild man, dwelling in tents. These translations do a lot of injustice as the word used to descibe Jacob is איש תם which means blameless or perfect man which was the same word used to descibe Job in 1:1. So if indeed he was a deceiver why would it be wiritten that he was a blameless man. Chose who you want to believe God or Esau,and if it is Gods word that you believe ,then please stop telling the world that Jacob is a deceiver. ‭‭

God chose Jacob over Esau before either one had done anything right or wrong. Romans 9, and the angels message to Rebekah prove it.
