Pastor, I really admire your honesty as you speak the Word. As a pastor, it is hard to say that you are also convicted with the preaching because u need to appear strong and completely able to apply the Word but deep inside you are struggling about it. As I listen to all your preachings, I started to be more transparent to my hearers in order to show to them that we are all striving to attain maturity in everything. I am so blessed with this series, and it has change me a lot. I couldn't be more thankful pastor. The Lord used you a lot this past few weeks of my closed look to the book of philippians.

Thank you Paul for a needed reminder. It is so easy to stray, as you say 'in our minds'. I need to read this reminder daily.

This is the focus God has me on now. Re directing my thoughts to him and not giving way to worry and rejoice in how grand, loving and mighty God is. He knows our thoughts are a road map and can guide us in the right dirt or to destruction. This world will have troubles, but Jesus knew how to overcome it and leaves his wisdom with us now to learn and experience. Thank you .. so much Pastor. This message God lead me to Google really blessed me

1 Peter 3:15 "Believers should always be ready to provide a rationale for their faith, but they should do so winsomely and righteously. And if they keep a good conscience, any accusations against them will prove groundless, and their accusers will be put to shame." 2 Timothy 2:24 "A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people."

I was actually entertaining some bad thoughts. I even confessed that I do not want to let go of those bad thoughts because it was my comfort zone and it was a happy hour when I drifted there. And then i asked my myself is it true, just, pure etc. I don't want to go there anymore. I am doooooone.

Praise Jesus for this grace-filled and "heart-breaking, mind-renewing" message from His Word. The battle of the mind and the anxiousness of the heart is a constant battle I believe everyone faces. The reminders of His Word has comforted my heart and I would want to share this message to my friends also. Praise Jesus for your ministry. May the Lord continue to use you mightily to "break the hearts" of His people so that they may see Him more in their lives as He did to mine. Soli Deo Gloria.

I just want to share an experience about the peace of God. In the Covid pandemic, my mom tested positive and was sent to the hospital. I work abroad and when I heard the news about it, it was really a weird feeling. (She's a high-risk patient also because of her underlying disease.) Everybody was coming to comfort me, but I said I was fine. Especially when the bill came, it was about half a million (in our currency, it's very expensive already) but I just said, "The Lord will provide." I was so peaceful that my co-worker even said, "If I was in your shoes, I'd gone crazy." (Btw, my 3 other family members got positive also and went to quarantine. In the middle of all that, my grandfather also died and I was a thousand miles away from home.) But, going back - it is true that if we just place our thoughts away from anxiousness, spend time in prayer with thanksgiving, truly God will give us His peace that passes all understanding to guard our hearts. Praises to Jesus because the bill got paid by government services! I cried not because of pain but because of His greatness that I am so humbled and awed of His grace. It was a truly God glorifying moment I will never stop praising Jesus for. God bless you, Pastor. Thank you for your heart in sharing this message.
