CALVER WEIR AND GOIT IN THE PEAK DISTRICT

The late and short days of autumn made for a great visit to the Peak District in November 2023.
This is walk one of three all based around the villages of Calver and Curbar. Here I take a low level walk near the river Derwent featuring a weir and goit (a man made channel usually diverted from a river)
