My 2nd day of flying was 25th March. I tried flying down stairs. Now I had seen other KZbinrs flying an Eachine E120 (same as mine except grey) in rooms and it was virtually flying itself. Mine was not quite as stable unless higher and when trimmed properly. Then I realised the reason (in my last video) that a sticker that was over the hole for the optical flow sensor was because it was NOT installed on the C186 ERA version. I confirmed this with the seller. This is still fine as I love this model. At least that explains why it was more tricky to fly.
I tried flying downstairs and got so far. Then tried landing on a bed.
Then took it outdoors and to my surprise could land 2/3 times an the pad, and the other time it did land on the pad but bounced off (not filmed). I could fly past nicely one way, then the other and use the yaw control to do spins in the air, twice to the left then twice right, and then again, and then headed straight each time I stopped. Was pleased with myself as this is only my third day of flying a helicopter. Nearest I got to this before was the X450 over a year ago. Overall flying outside was much more fun, with no real obstacles to hit other than myself or my bag, or the floor.
This model looks very similar to the one used by the local James Paget Hospital, especially in the thumbnail when flying over the houses.
