At least you can see the plane and wave to the pilot lol. And you held the Mustang steady.

Lol, it's good practice to hold the aircraft steady with small stick movements, plus you can see the undercarrige operate clearly and the flaps.

Hello. I have owned an Eachine Spitfire for two years and enjoyed it immensely. The camouflage does work against you, I think that It's a little quick for a raw novice but the gyro is brilliant. I am now looking at getting a better but still budget (sub £80.00), Tx. Something like the FlySky i6X but I have no idea how to, or if it or any other budget Tx will bind to it. Any ideas?

Yes my mate followed my Spit with a drone and the camo made it tricky lol. I personally haven't bound another transmitter to one of these but know it can be done using the V761 protocal. I think other may comment on here, or you may find another video somewhere. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yea I lost 2 props. How do I get replacement Prop Savers? The Prop saver is completely gone from my aircraft. Btw, I've been having a lot of fun with my Zero. It's so much fun. I dont think Expert mode is possible without trimming. I'm trying to find the right prop saver in ali express do you have the specs so I can make sure I get the right one? I'll order a dozen or so just to be sure
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Agree these are great fun. Just search 'Volantex 761 Serises Mini Planes prop saver' and they should come up on Ali Express etc. Very cheap. Expert mode is easier on some models such as the Mustang version 1 (solid windows). Trick is to set half throttle, then flick to expert ready to catch it on the elevator. Need to non windy day too.
@currdog44Ай бұрын
Hi Calvertfilm, While your repair ended up very nice, there is a better product for this type of fix. Its called lightweight spackling paste. It comes in a tub as small as 8oz and can be resealed and used for years (if you add a little water now and then). It costs approx $8 at HomeDepot. Super easy to work with and crazy light weight. I've used it for years with great results. It works using a plastic spreader just like the Hard as Nails but can be resealed just by putting the lid back on. Its probable half the weight as what you are using, dries very quickly and if done well, no sanding needed. Give it a shot, you'll never go back to Hard as Nails. Oh and tools, skin, etc can be cleaned with water.
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Cheers for the tip. People have mentioned the weight before but I don't think more than a gram or two went on this model. And it weighs 3,400 grams when flying. So I think it'll be ok but still worth knowing your tip for bigger repairs, so thanks for sharing.
@justme-yj3buАй бұрын
Awesome explanation on these little gems!!! I fly the the F4U CORSAIR almost daily but, I also have many other scale planes in my fleet. I fly my corsair in expert mode all the time with a lot of throw on elevator/Ailerons.. Once you get used to it you won't go back:) Thanks for all the insights and just subscribed
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Cheers for your comments. I see people fly these models in all of the modes and I think that is a strength of them. Depends as well what you've flown before. I have tried all of the modes and my favourite varies from time to time. Also some people use a decent transmitter and then rates and expo can add another dimension.

Nice repair work! Is the filler you used like a silicone caulking?
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Thanks, no this is not silicone. Hard as Nails goes solid and is used to glue things rather than use nails. Silicone may do but I'm not sure how well a water-based paint such as acrylic would take to it when spraying, and the paint may not stay on.

Hi I have this Vector SR65 rc boat I wanted to ask you how to make it go faster? I'm writing to you because I don't understand the language! I tried a 4s 25c battery and it goes the same as a 3s but sometimes the 4s goes into protection the boat. I have a 25A esc by chance if I change the esc to 40A will it change anything? let me know, (I care) how to improve?... thanks have a good day
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Hi yes I found a 4S battery eventually killed the supplied ESC after five goes. So upgrading to a better ESC, one built for 4S, should do. I went to a Shark 40A ESC but it still cuts out on 4S so you may need more than that. If you have a local shop I'd ask them for advice. But then you put more strain on the motor, so if you want reliability leave on 3S. Or upgrade the motor too when needed.
@alessandrozaninetti9922Ай бұрын
@@Calvertfilm currently it is original WITH 20A ESC if I mounted a 40A WOULD I HAVE ANY IMPROVEMENTS?
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
@@alessandrozaninetti9922 I mounted a 40A ESC but it made no real difference. Lovely model but really for 3S. With my Shark ESC it cuts out if I try to run 4S. Perhaps another 40A ESC would run 4S.

Looking forward to Mech Mania, even if it’s a sportsmanship based event (without the spinners) it’s still a championship regardless. I’m grateful that Mech Plus are attempting at making the show themselves.
@CalvertfilmАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment. For me the spinners are the most unskillful in terms of driving skill. You just wait for the robots to meet, especially with full body spinners. But they are great for destruction is that's your thing. For me I prefer controlled driver aggression, and this competition is more about that. Horses for courses as they say.
