Cotto didn’t even rematch Margarito until 3 years later after he had been knocked out by Shane Mosely already. And he legally couldn’t sue because his trainer took the fall for it and said Margarito had no idea. When we talk about things do your research before speaking please !

In a recent bid for a future fight with Devin, no network wanted to invest in him anymore. His image is destroyed, but I believe he had it coming because he's a boring fighter. The lawsuit is his last resort, but I personally doubt it'll help his image.
