Calvin absolutely fantastic album soooo rich in sound ,production, song arrangement hooks , bridges great body of work and your right it’ is definitely car journey sun shing music that gives such good vibes Hoping there is a third funk wav volume album as love the 1st as well but 2nd is much more gorgeous in sound Been playing this non stop 🏝🏝 even my 2 year old loves the songs

Vol 2 is SO GOOD! If/when Calvin makes Funk Wav Bounces Vol 3, I hope he gets Kendrick, J. Cole, Drake, Jay Z, or Kanye. Them with his instrumentation would make some amazing summer songs

Many people doesn’t understand that he evolves musically and doesn’t belong to 1 genre. The funk wav project is the perfect example. Calvin himself knows that this is not gonna be hits on hits. He created 2 albums that are meant to last & discovered slowly (all the featured artists knows this) Also Potion is close to 100millions streams on spotify alone and growing fast which is far from being a flop ! That album is goated 🌊

I’m probably most disappointed in the features they’re really lackluster and they almost feel like the artists didn’t care as opposed to Vol 1 where the features felt like the artists felt it was special. Production is also a bit ehh this time around as most of the compositions all sound similar. That being said New to You is my favorite.
