I met Calvin Rodgers when I didn't know who Calvin Rodgers was and he was humble, professional and just a great person. He played on my church's last choir recording (First Mount Zion Recording Choir - Virginia). At the time I was upset that he was replacing me for the recording, but I should have taken the time to learn more from him, but I did. I learned that no matter how good you are, be kind, humble, professional and God is pleased and you find more favor among your peers. Calvin and Isaiah Thomas are AMAZING artists! I love you guys

This cool! I remember Hannah(Ford was her last name) back in 2009. I headlined a show at Penny Road Pub in South Barrington IL. & Hannah did a show earlier that day, we said 'Hi' to each other as my wife & I was arriving & she was leaving, she was a very nice girl. The show was celebrating the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, so it was GREAT!!! And Chicago was a GREAT place to play(our home town), now we live & play in SW FLORIDA, VERY HOT in the summer, but we love it, & we definitely love Sweetwater, we are dedicated customers, thanks, you guys ROCK!!! Be safe, Rock On & God Bless!!!

Like Calvin, I can remember playing on pots and pans from the time I was 3 and because my mother and grandfather were both very musical I was exposed to music from my earliest memories. At a very young age, I saw a clip with Karen Carpenter playing drums and that was when I wanted to be a drummer. SHe was the first female drummer that I saw and so when I was 10 and able to take band class I chose drums. I had cancer sores in my mouth growing up so the drums were really the only option for me so it worked out well. I was bitten by the Jazz bug in high school and had a really great band teacher that helped me grow as a drummer. I love playing the drums and it was a joy to hear your stories and see your playing. THank you for sharing this as this was a blessing.
