CalWood Fire Timelapse - Boulder County, CO 2020

A timelapse of the CalWood fire in Boulder County, CO 10/17/2020 from 11am to 8pm.
I set up my camera to capture smoke from the Cameron Peak fires rolling in, but a new fire started nearby.

29 years there, Black Tiger fire ruined our open house for a place we built in Nederland 1988. Same house almost went in the Cold Spring Fire a few years ago. Former hub still lives in the woods (Gilpin County) very sad to see it burn.

We were at yaya's apple orchard yesterday and around 1:00 p.m. it was a small spot fire on the hill. By 3:00 p.m. it had exploded 10-fold. So sad. Stay safe.

Any reason why they don't get right on it and put them out while they're small?

@@TerryTunes actually when we were there we heard numerous fire trucks and police cars with their sirens blaring flying by. I just think that it was in an area that it was very difficult to get to and that's why it just exploded in no time.

Looking NW from where I36 turns to 28th. The triangle building is the Province Apts.

We had some light rain/drizzle this morning in Fort Collins. Did Boulder County get any of that as well?

We did in the lower section of the fire but not high up. Fire didn’t gain much ground today though!

No one to blame except those that didn't use the funding for cleaning it. Big visions for CO, did they envision this to for UN agenda? Maybe.
