@@RegulerShowTV - If it's got a plug (6 pin?) coming out near the back of the valley, that's the connector for the DOD. Needless to say you want to delete that and go to a conventional cam/lifter setup. It's an easy & common conversion.

Okay, world famous Pat the Engine dude. I love this question. Why don't you check the clearance between the ID of cam bearing and cam journals when blue printing? How do cam bearings effect oil pressure. Old superstition said high rpm oil pressure loss was due to cam bearing failure. Here's your chance to set the engine building world ablaze there bud.

Are there different levels of bearings for these applications like smaller bearings can be crappy abec1 that have the most friction compared to abec5 which have much less friction? Also longevity of the materials? Bearings can be very different

There are several bearing types. With different alloys. Application specific.

At what point does a person decide to put in roller bearings in the block in the CamBearing slots instead of the traditional bearings. When building an engine rather be a race engine or regular engine just wondering or maybe a diesel engine like in a pick up these days.
