12:38 actually a staggered weld is stronger than a continuous long weld , on a continuous weld if it happens to crack or split it'll keep going along the "continuous weld now with a staggered weld if one of the welds crack or split it can only go as far as that one weld goes . Just speaking from experience .

The 390 fe is the one they used in the mustang gts back in the late 60s or was the fe for the trucks

“Boss 351” was a 335 series Cleveland engine. The 351 Windsor series engine, which is what this block is based on, was never used in a “Boss 351” so I don’t know why they are calling it a Boss 351. Just saying.

Today we're going to be rebuilding a car from the 70's that somehow doesn't have a single spot of rust, no dents or dings, but is slightly dusty.

You need to change the upper and lower control arms because in "racing mode" you to make the camber angle lower, it least negative camber when under sway at the side otherwise you have done nothing.

Sorry that engine needs to be Chevy Orange

Id like to know the shop he’s talking about that would grind a crank for $150. Anyways imo if ur building for power not trying to be a factory build for stock restoration specially if ur doing a small block Chevy or ford its pretty foolish to buy a stock rotating assembly as a stroker rotating assembly isn’t much more money.

My 2022 F350 Godzilla is a joy. I’m mid 60’s and I lived in the era of the 70’s dream machines Now I own the new version. This is the single best vehicle I have ever owned. And yes I used to be a Toyota guy.

Its fun to watch the rich blow money on toys. see how the shop shows no signs of anyone actually working there, its a very expensive TV show, Im thankful they can show it for free. some shops might tell you there insurance will not allow you to watch them do the work, you must wait outside. these guys are a blessing.
