I worked on and drove this ole girl on some northeast Arkansas roads! Last load she hauled was soybeans to the Mississippi River in West Memphis! overweight ofcourse! Great strong beautiful truck! Love all the work and upgrades you've done! Much more Beautiful!

Nice looking old truck. That 220 Cummins would be slow, back in those days , as were most trucks . Who cared, 6-7 days to go cross country. No one was in a hurry like now.

I drove trucks for 46 years (mostly in the south and mid-west) and do not remember ever seeing a Hays tractor. Anyway, that thing is really cool looking! Thanks for the video. Even us old-farts still learn new things about trucks on occasion.

So beautiful. Don’t believe I’ve ever encountered a Hayes before! Thank you. Miss Red. Late ‘70s I ran the NE and Quebec driving several different makes of cabovers, none with the Hayes’ attention to keeping the driver warm during frigid Northern winters. One in particular had a footwell vent that opened into the cab, rather than out. It leaked cold air like crazy, and the cab heater was anemic at best. One advantage was I didn’t have to take the time to don cold weather duds upon arrival. Already wearing toque, parka, gloves and Sorel boots just to keep from freezing as I drove.

Love your Hayes clipper cab over 🏆in Abbotsford BC is a Hayes clipper conventional 1963 ??cab will a dog house behind it's a deep red truck used to go Coast to Coast owned by Arnie in show room condition .Love these trucks 🏆
