As someone who's dad had several baby mommas she's right. It felt like it was a constant fight for his attention and presence. Some of my siblings mom were toxic as hell. They would lie, have their kids steal from his house, weaponize their kids, and when he died they were like vultures looking for what they could get, one even forge fake papers and had my sister sign over his property to her.
