you are clearly getting emotional. the subject of this short video by Cam was'nt about what Cam should understand, the subject was who loved hip-hop for the sake of loving it. a comparison was made, premises were given and a conclusion drawn yet here you are crying that Cam did'nt say your favorite rapper loved hiphop more. Cam been known Jay since the late 80s/early 90s so he is more than qualified to speak on the man. He did not insult him but merely stated the facts, which the whole entire world knows anyway, aside Jay fans. Even Jay himself has said it on several occasions, hip-hop was a means to an end for him yet here we are with fanboys trying to help launder dude's image into what he is'nt. Jay always been a hustler, he came into rap seeking to better his life and prosper himself. So when it was the Nas flow in the 90s that was popping, he hopped on that. When another flow was popping, he switched it up and rolled with all the popping artistes at any given time. There was never any shame in this, to me it just showed the man was a go getter, he was never the go to guy for a rapper that loved the game for the game itself. And make no mistake sir, they all got rich off of rap, they just decided to fall back on what they love doing best, for Nas its just hiphop for Jay its the ventures that come first. To each his own and it is not a slight at either man.

Dude, he is bringing hip hop to the masses. Breaking down walls for hip hop to win. How is that not love for the genre? Y'all are weird when you comment on someone you don't like as much as someone else. Just bcuz he didn't perform at hip hop 50, doesn't make dude love hip hop less than anybody else.

You don’t get it bra… Nas broke down those walls globally. The highest selling rap album ever is from an Indian dude who sold 30 million copies in India. His name is Divine. Nas really love this hip hop ish 🔥

Neither approach is wrong. You don't have to choose one. Both are correct and are unique to each individual. Also: It's about what do you want & what are your goals? Everyone doesn't want the same thing.
