I just realized when they got to Rock, the beat had a little Rock and Roll feel and then when it got to Steel, the beat had hints of Metal. That's some nice polish. And I'm not talking about Rock Polish. Accidental BARS!

the bar in the Poison verse, "Gulp and Swallow the D", is referencing a two-stage Poison-Type line known as Gulpin and Swalot from Gen 3.

The snake backwards stepping on 23s is for ekans being the 23rd pokemon in the national pokedex.

1:37 I'm just now noticing the verse here. Yeah, Aqua Jet is a move with +1 priority. But there's a new move in the latest Pokemon called "Upper Hand" a move with plus +3 Priority. It's a move literally made to shut down other Priority moves because it'll make the person getting hit flinch. (UpperHand doesn't work if the opponent uses a move that has no priority) So Freshy is saying his Aqua Jet is even faster than something made to counter it, that's freaking sick

Stellar type is a special "super Terastallization" that when used makes you all Types at once for some pokemon it breaks them into stall wall demons.

4:15 its actually an ability that prevents escape/switching out. Only 3 pokemon have this ability: digglett dugtrio and trapinch. All of these are ground types. also there is a line in the verse "I am sippin on that poison like a gliscor" now on surface this could mean ground is super effective against poison, but gliscor has an ability called toxic heal where it heals itself instead of getting damaged when its poisoned

Chi-Chi has to be my favorite verse. They're all fantastic, but I've never heard her pop off so freaking hard. There's just so much energy in it that I feel like I could fist fight a dragon listening to it.

He missed “Your song torched,” Torch Song, Skeledirge’s signature move Also Gulpin and Swalot when he says gulp and swallow And on Psychic, he says something about green and turning back time which is a marvel time stone On fairy she says get comfy, my kids is sweet, which is talking about the Pokemon Comfey and the move Sweet Kiss and she says we be dancing is style, but pronounced it as Diancie’ing in style Stellar type gives Pokemon a boost to all of their moves when Tera’d, and therefore gave Pokemon that weren’t as good (D ranks) a chance to get better (S’s) The line “Bet the Stellar form could stop the weather storming”and “I’m really Terraforming” are referring to Terapagos’ ability Teraform Zero which nullifies all Weather effects and Terrains
