He wouldn’t tell me why I had to put it on the waistband of my pants, and since I was nine when HG/SS came out, I couldn’t walk to my local playground, so I had to walk around in both the front and backyard of our parents house. Some shed it, or in a dolphin's case it's so small you can't really see it, but it is there. Also dolphins yes have hair not fur lol, to which they are born with it then lose majority of it (again to the point you can barely see it) quickly. If I had to guess most aquatic mammals (that are oceanic, obviously some like otters or the platypus are fuzzy lil guys lol) are this way, seals and whales too.

3:10... ahem... sorry Noble this is going to be long lol. Last Poke video you asked for the lore of the Pokemon world, now you're getting the mythology of the Pokemon world lol. Also spoilers especially for Legends Arceus. Giratina, in the anime, can only come to our world via reflections, vs in the games only through waypoints that would allow it, with ties to Giratina and/or the Distortion World itself. Even then though it is a bit rough, such as Spear Pillar which by all means is Pokemon Holy land, Giratina in Platinum though spliced the dimensions briefly, the gravity of our world reverting it to its distorted form, while in the Distortion World it can maintain its origin form, its true form. Summoning Dialga or Palkia is fine, Giratina is ok with Cyrus summoning his brothers, he can't control them to the full extent anyways. However in Platinum, summoning both, that doesn't fly, so Giratina yoinks him to the distortion world forcibly colliding the universes. Giratina has power over time and space, lore wise the strongest legendary besides Arceus itself. It can manipulate time and space but from the anti matter perspective, while Dialga and Palkia are matter. It can travel through and control any dimension within Arceus' allowance. Which led to my personal theory that it created the genie Pokemon. the trio now a quartet, Tornadus, Landorus, etc that change forms by taking energy from some unknown parallel world via a mirror. Hoopa meanwhile, a djinn (a... ahem evil genie wink wink wank wonk) also has the same powers as Giratina. Difference being Hoopa itself cannot travel through its portals and with its power, it can only transport other things... which is something Giratina could need to escape its world, made its own prison by Arceus. Without Arceus' restrictions, Giratina theoretically has the ability to move itself and anything between any dimension. Also possible it made 2 members of the light trio, Cosmog that evolves into Solgaleo and Lunala, capable of warping and moving themselves through time space and dimensions, then the 3rd member Necrozma that is a parasitic black hole, but was once a God and light itself. I mean the only theory here is that Giratina created the genie quartet, Hoopa, Cosmog/Cosmoem/Solgaleo/Lunala, the rest is true, the manipulation of powers, that the genies need a mirror to transform, Hoopa's and Cosmog etc's powers. It just makes sense that Giratina made them because while it loves its home... it also wants its freedom. Giratina specifically also draws from Christianity, it's not just any devil, it's not Satan, it is inspired by Lucifer, the fall from grace. Vs I believe (apologies and anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) in Judaism Satan isn't necessarily evil, is God's left hand, but is a means to test humans, a necessary evil. While it also is inspired by the centipede from the Chinese fable My Lord Bag of Rice. Fitting as well since Arceus pulls from Christianity/Judaism etc mono God beliefs (forget that term apoloogies), while pulling from Chinese religion's Budha with its 1000 arms creating the universe. Arceus created everything, Arceus is the only God of the Pokemon world, while some legendaries could be likened to minor gods I suppose, such as the creation trio Dialga Palkia and Giratina, vs the bird trio of Kanto obviously are not Gods by any means. Even Necrozma being inspired also by the mono God belief, this time from alchemy, is not seen as a God... ish, in the Ultra Megalopolis it was revered as a God being capable of lighting up their world, which is what led to it dying and losing its true form, becoming the parasitic black hole form we know. Much like our own world, like calling Zues a God, he was worshipped, revered but isn't THE God by modern standards and beliefs (which honestly I think is good on Pokemon and kind of cool, the what if all religions are real). Arceus is seen as THE God and the only being capable of transcending the multiverse existing everywhere and nowhere at the same time, while other legendaries are just god like. Why legendaries as weak as Shaymin, Phione, Mew, Heatran etc or with multiples of their species like Articuno, Regirock, also Shaymin etc can be on the same level as say Giratiana or Dialga considered legendaries or mythical legendaries. Why some are considered mythical legends... LIKE SHAYMIN, while Giratiana is just a typical legendary, while Articuno is a semi legendary a weaker legendary with multiples of its species but still powerful and rare. Meanwhile Arceus, as we know it, is just an avatar, like 1% of its full limitless power, thus Arceus is a "mythical legendary"... but by all intents and purposes would exceed that status. I personally see Mew as the... sort of Adam and Eve of the Pokemon franchise. The 1 dex entry states it is ancestor to all Pokemon, but it isn't specified. Gen wunners have held onto this believing it to be all Pokemon, however I believe the dex just means all non legendaries. Mew was most likely made either after certain legendaries, or was the last legendary made, to which all Pokemon sprang up and evolved from Mew, even humans could probably trace their DNA to Mew if not a few other Pokemon species between then. Bare minimum I think the creation trio were made, weather trio (Rayquaza's gang) and Regigigagas, then Mew. Palkia balances space, maintains it, planet forms, Arceus makes weather trio to create the sky, earth, and sea, Regigigagas to tow the continents, then you need the seed of life, which is Mew. It's possible the Lake Trio came before, but I think they came after and were modeled after Mew, as they have power of Dialga and Palkia, but not Giratina. The Red Chain was meant to keep Dialga and Palkia under control, prevent them from going origin form unleashing their uncontrollable power, because Giratina lost control and rampaged. Arceus needed a failsafe so its other children wouldn't need to be forcibly shut into the distortion world or other dimensions. Before LA I thought this meant in general, that maybe Giratina lashed out at Rayquaza Dialga etc. However LA shows it lashed out at humans at some point in the past, in that one area of Mt Coronet, where Dialga and Palkia have statues, fully intact. Meanwhile a broken statue looking like Giratina is... well broken, in pieces. Meaning at one-point Giratina too was revered by humanity until... one day it wasn't for some reason. Going back into personal theories, after the Pokemon Generations Johto episodes, where people attacked and hated Ho-Oh and the beast trio (Suicune etc after Ho-Oh brought them back to life), because it was unnatural to bring the dead back to life, we see humans fearing something they once revered. If I had to guess Giratina lashed out at humans for this reason. Either being attacked itself out of fear, or defending its brothers Dialga and Palkia because they were feared, thus Giratina was seen as evil by humanity, Arceus didn't want Giratina getting hurt or hurting others, so locks it up in the distortion world. Unlike Lucifer who hated humanity, leading to his fall, heck I guess more in line with that one rendition of Satan (lol guess I was wrong, Giratina pulls from like 3 things at least), Giratina is more like a tragic hero, or the misunderstood monster, like Frankenstein's monster. Either attacking because it defended itself or its brethren, or lost control of its senses. In LA it decided to become the villain humanity made it out to be. However in Platinum we see that Giratina is willing to protect our world and us as well... probably because 1 trainer changed its views of humanity, 150+ years in the past, in a little region called Hisui. Cyrus was a threat, Giratina protected its brethren, its world, and ours without hurting anyone, not even Cyrus. So I guess you could see the timeline as DP or BDSP, LA, then Platinum bringing it full circle in a new timeline. This depth is why I love Giratina as a Pokemon, why it's one of my favorite legendaries, 1 creature, one pocket monster, with so much detail, mythology, and references in it. I'll always like Lugia and Suicune more for nostalgia, can't deny that... but Giratina is a close 3rd. 3rd, 2nd, and 1st are all a hair length apart from one another.
