The LT1 camaro is underrated all day. I go to test and tunes every now and then and I see them running 11’s all day. I’m over here in my 2015 ss running 12.90’s thinking I have something. Lmao Chevy killed it with this one.

My 2019 ss manual with worn out 305 nittos does 12.5 in the quarter and 9.3 0-100. 0-60 is only 4.5 though. This on the street . So I figure on a track with a good tire I could get 11.5. Are these good times for street. Because I’ve raced a 10 speed ss with longtubes and I come around him around 130. All I have done is longtubes and a dynoed on 93

I got a stock lt1 GM did a good job from factory idk if you had traction control on or not but with slicks turn it off and get them hot you should hook on the strip and you could probably run a bit quicker

In order launch/brake boost these, you have to turn off TC and ESC which puts the car into Competitive Mode… floor the brake pedal then the gas and it holds right below 3k rpm for launch. Agreed on the point to getting a those slicks hot though!

I have Mickey Thompson street r on 17” forgestar f14 wheels and I just brake boosted I didn’t use the launch control yet . With a good tire it will just hook

Turn traction control off and put performance shift on if you have a good tire , if not definitely keep traction control on I ran like 12.2 on the 245 stock just couldn’t launch super hard

I’m dead nuts 50/50 between them and the weld venturas (and I believe they’re the same weight +- 1lb) so it’ll probably come down to whichever my cheap ass can score a deal on. Anyways, are those the 305 or 315 out back? If I’m not mistaken the 315 is basically a 26” and 305 is a 28”ish??… I ran 28s on my bolt on SS A8 but kinda want to try out a 26 on my a10 lt1. If they are in fact the 26s did you run into any problems with shift points or anything? That’s my big concern with that much shorter tire. Appreciate posting the video man. Have fun out there.
