Would you ever get an automatic ss? Why not?

@@cesargonzalez1521 i have one putting my long tubes on tomorrow or the next day.

You will need two people. One on top the other under the car. It’s a good three hours from start to finish. Make sure to heat up around you O2 sensors before you try to remove them. If you don’t they will strip. Good luck.

Hey fellow Michiganders! I’m getting ready to do mine in a few weeks. How long did it take? Did y’all run into any issues? Mines not winter driven, 58k miles 2010. I suspect bolts should come off easily.

Sounds great. High flows or catless?

I know it's not the same thing but would a heat gun work to remove the sensors?
@gjodexter3 жыл бұрын
Possibly but it would sure take awhile. Just buy a small torch used for soldering copper water lines.

I jus got my long tubes... Will it run fine if i dont have a tuner to eliminate the rear sensor
@gjodexter4 жыл бұрын
Oscar Montoya did you install catted connections? If not you will run lean at the top and also have a check engine light showing,

Everything else is stock except for the headers?
@gjodexter4 жыл бұрын
yes. he added a tuner later on.
@bingobango1704 жыл бұрын
Any difference in power with the new headers ?
@gjodexter4 жыл бұрын
Bingo Bango definitely. The tuner also removed the need for the rear O2 sensors. No check engine light was set. Power gain of about 15 to 20 wheel I would estimate.
@bingobango1704 жыл бұрын
That’s great thanks. FYI I recognize that area. I used to live on enismore on woodhul lake. I’m over in white lake now. I have a 2013 ss1LE. And I used to live on Dvorak off of maybe road. You drove by that street in this video 😂

what tuner is he running?
@gjodexter5 жыл бұрын
lyfsavr3489 SCT. I believe they were one of the companies that got nailed for allowing you to turn off the rear O2 sensors.
@jeffhammer795 жыл бұрын
I plan on doing the same to my 12 ls3. I have the dynamic and a cold air. If I get the sct with the catted version will I need to turn off the rear o2?

jeffhammer79 no headers no problem, catted headers, it’s up in the air if it will set codes or not.
