I might have missed it but how much did all this run you total? I’m wondering how much it would cost for all parts and to have a mechanic install it. I know work will vary from shop to shop and location matters too but I’m just wondering in general.

I'm unsure on shops prices. Because I'm a certified mechanic. But I will show u, as I go along. How I did it, install and what worked best. I resorsed everything on fb market place, new. A few things were used and like new. I bought it, piece at a time. Negoatied too. I saved a bunch this way.

I smoothed my runners a little bit, but i did not take enough off to fuck the alignment with intake ports. Ive heard of people using unported intakes for 1,000hp engines so, I smoothed mine hoping to keep it clean more than anything.

@@belo-zerolt-180 Yea its a really good idea for a motor using EGR. The intake I pulled had carbon build up that didn't seem natural, so I assume it came from the EGR...

I have not added Dongle yet. Trying to figure out, might do a chip & tune on car. But this is just a driver build. I have the msd dis & box and wires and electric pump. None of it, I've installed. Picked up a new y pipe 3". I'm focusing on the front end, bushings, ball joints rubbers and shocks. I have to bleed brakes, adjust full supension, relube and a alignment. Then test.

You might get 290-300 hp. Spark plug wires are not a hp mod.

I'm doing a cam, adding k and a arms, a fuel pump and starter, long tubes and the 3 "x. Simple tune Believe I'll hit 350 rwhp this ss Camaro in 1996 with ram air and slp exhaust factory came with 32o hp. Car has Borla 3 cat 🔙

You won’t like the optispark distributor. Get a intake manifold off a 85-89 Corvette and put the regular distributor on top in the back, like it’s always been. And do something with the timing cover, hell set up a gear drive in it and not a chain. Put a big ass lopping Cam in it.

Modern batteries do not discharge from sitting on the ground unless theyre being rained on. Materials tech has come a long way and the case is well insulated

That's a big myth😂😂😂. All my batteries sit on concrete with tender and I've gotten 4 plus years out of my batteries.. Just got 6 years out of my optima boat batteries😁.
