This is really cool to see. I just finished putting LT headers, X-pipe, tune, and CAI on my SS and have a cam waiting to go in too. Never would've guessed you'd chop that much time off the 1/4 mile!

Nice gains man i also have a 5thgen and the same mods im learning how to tune myself i had drag radials though and ran a 12.6 @108 since then i have tweaked the tune a bit more and saw some flaws i had so i might be trapping better mph now just havent taken it to the track.

Jim S the tune and headers really helped to open it up. These cars are so restricted from the factory. Still running the factory intake air box

@@unfundedtony4814 well for starters the drivetrain is better (6l80>4l60) the auto trans holds much more power. The driveshaft is stronger in the camaro. The rear suspension setup is better. The camaro has beefier setup (no wheelhop like the gtos have, which means less broken parts), bigger motor in the camaro so more gains per mod so more POWAH. Camaros are newer obviously so you have more reliability. Interior comparison is close one because I liked my gto interior too and looks is relative. But for me I feel like I have an upgraded version of a gto

Mic car I have the same one convertible though I have stainless works headers a borla x pipe stock mufflers roto fab intake transmission tune and engine tune and a pedal commander putting in a can before year is done after that Iam going to clean up a lot of cars on the road lol

Would you gain power if you just straight piped it by removing those big stock mufflers?

It Probably wouldn't gain any hp but the weight savings would definitely result in quicker E.Ts. I think they are 20-25lbs each

What year is it ? I know the 13's tend to get a tiny bit more power due to the electronic steering I think.

Have the same mods and ran a 13.1 due to bad wheel hop. Bought some bmr trailing arms but curious as to how you’re testing the clutch off the line. I’d like to break 13s

Could be elevation , every car dyno’s lower at higher altitude, my l99 made 406 with Long tubes, intake and tune but I’m under 500 on sea level

So your saying it went from 360 rear wheel horsepower stock to 440 with a tune cold air intake and longtube headers and catless exhaust my 2011 Camaro SS has a brand new GM performance LS3 480 horsepower crate engine with just over 400 miles on it with CNC ported LS3 heads a 25 percent under drive pulley 1 7/8 long tube headers X pipe catless 3 inch exhaust to the back bumper a roto fab cold air intake one piece aluminium driveshaft a freshly built 6L80e transmission with a circle D 4200rpm stall converter and tuned for E85 with a ZL1 fuel pump and injectors and a 102mm throttle body with a sheet metal intake all of it has just over 400 miles on it and it made 430 rear wheel horsepower at 6200rpm and 410 torque at 5000rpm so you make 440 horsepower at the wheels with a cold air intake catless exhaust with long tube headers and a computer tune with a stock cam is totally amazing can't believe l just wasted all this money for just 430 horsepower when a couple of bolt- ons makes 440 horsepower

400hp rated at the flywheel, 315whp to the tires. Considering the 20% drivetrain loss that's about 80hp
