Camaro with a 572

Someone asked if this was in Regina. I sold my 69 Camaro & it went to Regina Canada. The new owners flew in to Texas & drove it home over 2,200 miles & loving every minute of it! -- By the way, NICE CAR!

I owned a 1970 rs/ss in mid 80s , looked and ran nothing like this one though . It was a respectable daily driver until I was t-boned one icy morning . Have not thought about that car in years , bittersweet memories .

nice car, and the 572 BB from chevy is one hell of a motor, love the year of the car too, the split nose (split cause of the 2 small bumpers on the sides of the big grill opening) was a option on second gen Camaro's from 70 1/2 to 72 (looks like a '71)

My dad had a 70 1/2- was my favourite car growing up, original colour was yellow with black stripes, but the ol man being the hotrodder he is changed it to black w/ white stripes- however his only had a 427...

Nice I have always been a fam of Camaros mostly 1st Gen but 2nd Gen is really getting polular lately and this is a fine example of one. Is it the 620 hp version? Best motor IMO out right now that is not supercharged,thanks for letting us see it.

@sspelletier Yep, that or it isn't a true dual exhaust. Most of the dual exhausts you see on trucks today are just two outlets from a single muffler which makes it sound different. I want to put mine back to single but still exit out the back. It doesn't matter what brand of car you favor as they are basically the same at the exhaust level. Unless you start putting headers on.

@Freedom21stCenturi Actually the government regulations on HP ratings changed. It's not that the engines had less HP, it's that the way they measured it changed. They still produced the same power outputs. Something I didn't understand for a while either.

@SchwartzeBaron 572 is a big block. It doesn't necessarily have to fit the same mounts. It's the same with any Chevy motor in the BB family - they all fit. SB dimensions are the same to themselves - they all fit. I wish the 4.3 V6 was an easier work around - you can use the same pistons, pushrods, lifters, water pump and other assorted shit but you have to put different mounts on the frame. The good thing is that one the mounts have been put on a big block will replace a 6. YAY!

@mrceebees14 It also gives your body work guy something to do cause he has to tub it out. Those tires aren't so fun when you are just out and cruising cause they aren't your 32psi street tires made for 60mph twisty turns on back roads. The suspension that goes with all of that serves one purpose as well unless it isn't 4 link.

the motor itself is 720hp, so its very easy to make 800hp with that, drop a turbo and tune with mods and you can easily get 1500rwhp all day

@Livecannibalism001 Ive seen 572s with more than 1000 hp. It really depends if it has nitrous or a blower or if its N/A. Even an N/A 572 can have over 1200 hp.
