How is Stealth Camo holding up
@FRS2K2 жыл бұрын
Holding up great. I’ve had on my s2000 for over a year and it still looks awesome. It can be a pain to keep clean and it scratches fairly easy but I absolutely love it!

How much wrap did you use?
@FRS2K2 жыл бұрын
I believe I used 25-30 feet. Full 5’ width down the side and was able to cut the rest down the middle for the bumpers, hood roof and trunk

Did you use knife-less tape?

Is it durable? How does it hold up to scratching or abrasion?
@FRS2K Жыл бұрын
It’s held up to a lot of track abuse but the film being textured and black means it will never be as clean as it was when first installed. It can be but it takes some effort. It scratches easily and you can’t heat them out like you could on a gloss film, to some extent. I love the wrap but it gets annoying trying to keep it clean. I usually rewrap my car every 6 months or so but I kept this for 2 years on my s2000 before switching to a high gloss film recently.

@@FRS2K thanks man, appreciate the response! Thinking about using it on the hood of my 4runner that gets a lot of trail use. Awesome car btw!

@@PrimerBravo absolutely! Like I said I love the film but it does come with some down sides. As long as you know those and are ok with them, you’ll probably love it too.

I heard horror stories about vivid. Is this your first time using the brand?
@FRS2K Жыл бұрын
I’ve only used this specific color and their gloss carbon today actually. It wasnt bad to work with considering it is a textured film. It’s going to be harder to work with then say 3m or Avery but every brand has its pros and cons. I am going to be removing it on the s2000 this winter and we’ll see how that goes since I have heard some people have issues with removal and adhesive residue. CK wraps uses them and I trust his word even thought he is obviously loyal to them. I wouldn’t choose vvivid over a more reputable brand unless they had a specific color that I couldn’t get through anyone else like the stealth camo.
