How did this change your pedal feel? Would you recommend it?
@FRS2KКүн бұрын
I couldn’t honestly tell you because we don’t drive the car very hard anymore as it is mainly for show and we track other vehicles. I know that a lot of people swear by master cylinder braces since they can flex quite a bit under hard braking. Unless you do a lot of hard braking on spirited drives or on track, I feel like any noticeable difference would be negligible.

why in the f was the car not controlled after the money shift? like wtf i’m lost how she managed to crash afterwards. first thing i would do is slow down and pull over ?
@FRS2K4 күн бұрын
She slowed quite a bit and when she let out the clutch the motor seized (dropped valve)and locked up the rear tires causing the car the jerk which is what you hear. The rear of the car is gutted out so you hear the tires picking up rocks as she’s pulling off track. No way to really prepare for something like this until it happens and hindsight is 20/20.

I never see anyone use glue to hold them in did the fall out when installing id cut after its in
@FRS2K5 күн бұрын
I’ve done 3 and haven’t had any issue with them pulling out. I give each one a gentle pull before cutting to make sure I touch up any that are still loose. Cutting them after putting the headliner back in would be another way of making sure everything stays where you want it.

question, did you have a huge gap where the fender meets the bumper? I got the same rear overfenders and we mocked it up and noticed the gap. We're thinking once it's riveted on it'll eliminate the gap. Would u suggest using a heat gun for the fender to conform to the body?
@FRS2K16 күн бұрын
@Momos2k do you have an ap2? The ap2 rear bumper has a slightly different shape to it vs an ap1 which is flat on the sides. This kit was originally molded off an ap1 so there is some gaps on the rear if you have an ap2. You can use heat to try and shape it a little. Mine were a little wavy around the edges and if you use a thicker fender trim, it will help fill in gaps.
@Momos2k15 күн бұрын
@@FRS2K yeah mines an AP2 so that does make sense. What fender trim did you happen to use?

Honestly I worry about hitting a deer whenever driving at night...so I avoid it as much as I can. Wife and I almost hit a deer at 120km/hr. Because we're so low who knows if we would have survived. Luckily for us the transport truck ahead of us took it out as it swerved from the shoulder lane to in front of us. We passed the deer as it spun out in the shoulder lane, WHEW!

My 2013 FRS was home to mice over the winter. There were 3 nests under the hood and one in the trunk. The urine smell was unbearable. After removing the nests and cleaning up the trunk (I removed all the foam containment blocks to be thorough) and had the interior and engine shampooed. The smell inside remained strong BECAUSE there was a huge nest above the headliner. The mice were able to slip into that area easily at the windshield without gnawing bits off (thankfully). My dog actually pointed out where the smell was coming from and with your video was able to easily drop the headliner enough to Vacuum the nest and droppings and spray clean the urine. I went the extra step and disconnected the battery so the air bag curtains didn't go off and break my arms. Thank-you for the video, I can now drive it again after avoiding it for the last 4 months.

I'm willing to bet these are made in the same factory as the go jacks, just like the jacks are pretty much the same as a snap on at a fraction of the price.

I feel like you can avoid this by for the 3rd to 4th shift putting your hand on top of the shifter instead of the right. I feel like it eliminates any pressure that could cause it to shift into 2nd.
@FRS2KАй бұрын
Hand placement can play a huge role in that. When you’re driving at the limit it’s the little details like that that can make a big difference.
